Keep moving content under user control

Rotating content can present several offers in limited space, but people need different amounts of time to read. An automatically changing area should therefore provide an understandable way to pause and support keyboard interaction.

Design transitions deliberately

• Provide reachable controls to pause and resume.
• Keep content stable during deliberate interaction.
• Respect a preference for reduced motion.
• Make all content reachable without automatic rotation.

For manually scrollable images, individual images should remain recognizable in full. Check the viewport, spacing and end of the sequence at different screen widths. A decorative effect does not replace understandable access to content.

Verification combines presentation and behavior: read, pause, change the item and continue with the keyboard. That reveals whether the component supports the task.
